Terms & Conditions
At Watch Laboratory, we believe in clear communication, careful craftsmanship, and treating every timepiece with the attention it deserves. Please read the following information before submitting your watch for repair.
01 — Estimates & Repairs
Every request, reviewed individually.
All repair requests are reviewed individually. Initial estimates are free and based on the information and photographs provided.
The final cost may change after physical inspection or disassembly if additional issues are discovered. Any additional work and related costs will be discussed with you before proceeding.
We reserve the right to decline projects that fall outside our specialization or cannot be completed reliably.
02 — Restoration, Risks & Responsibility
Handled with care, within its limits.
Every watch is handled with professional care. However, older timepieces may contain fragile, worn, or previously damaged components, and certain issues may only become apparent during disassembly.
While we aim for the best possible results, perfect cosmetic restoration, exact timekeeping, and the successful repair of every component cannot be guaranteed.
Watch Laboratory is not responsible for pre-existing defects or deterioration unrelated to our work. Any liability for damage or loss arising from our services is subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer protections.
03 — Shipping
Getting your watch to us and back.
Once your project is accepted, you'll receive our shipping instructions.
You can choose your preferred courier or postal service and arrange shipping at your own expense. We recommend secure packaging and insured, trackable delivery.
International shipping and customs arrangements may require additional coordination. Responsibility for loss or damage during transit is determined by the applicable shipping arrangements and law.
04 — Turnaround & Payment
No surprises, no upfront cost.
Repair times vary depending on complexity, parts availability, and workshop workload. Any timeframes provided are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines.
Payment is normally requested only after your watch has been repaired, returned to you, and you've confirmed that everything is satisfactory.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or Revolut.
05 — Warranty & Cancellations
Coverage, and a way back.
Repairs generally come with a 6- or 12-month warranty, depending on the watch and work performed. Coverage applies to issues directly related to our work.
If you change your mind before repairs begin, your watch can be returned without repair. Applicable shipping costs are normally covered by the customer.
These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
06 — Photography & Privacy
Permission to photograph and share.
We regularly photograph and document our restoration work, both to record the repair process and to share our craftsmanship.
If you would prefer your watch not to be featured publicly, please let us know. Where separate consent is legally required, we will request it before publication.
Where legally permitted, photographs and videos of watches and restoration work may be featured on our website or social media without disclosing personal customer information. Personal information provided through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
